We’re pleased to announce that HBP is now officially registered on JOSCAR, the Joint Supply Chain Accreditation Register.
JOSCAR is a collaborative tool used across the aerospace, defence, and security industries, acting as a single, centralised repository for pre-qualification and compliance information. It’s used by a wide range of prime contractors — including organisations such as the MoD, BAE Systems, Babcock, and Rolls-Royce Submarines — to determine that suppliers are “fit for business” and meet rigorous standards across areas such as quality, health and safety, environment, financial stability, and cyber security.
Becoming JOSCAR registered demonstrates HBP’s commitment to operating to the highest standards of compliance and governance, and provides our clients and partners with further assurance that we’re a trusted, reliable supply chain partner. This accreditation is particularly relevant given our long-standing relationship with BAE Systems in Barrow-in-Furness, further strengthening our credentials as a supplier within the defence and security sectors.
Commenting on the achievement, Tom Butler, Operations Manager at HBP, said:
“Becoming JOSCAR registered is a real milestone for us. It’s an important accreditation within the defence and security industry, and achieving it reflects the standards we hold ourselves to across quality, health and safety, and compliance more broadly. Given our existing work with BAE Systems, this feels like a natural next step for HBP, and it opens the door to working with other major organisations in this space. We’re proud of the effort that’s gone into achieving this registration.”
We look forward to continuing to build on our reputation as a trusted, accredited partner across the industries we serve.
