Cyber Essentials Plus is a UK Government-backed certification scheme that provides independent verification that an organisation has robust cyber security measures in place. Unlike the base-level Cyber Essentials certification, which relies on self-assessment, Cyber Essentials Plus involves a hands-on technical audit carried out by an independent assessor, testing our systems and controls against real-world cyber threats.

Achieving this accreditation demonstrates that HBP has the right processes and protections in place across five key areas:

• Firewalls and internet gateways
• Secure configuration of devices and software
• User access control
• Malware protection
• Security update (patch) management

This certification gives our clients, partners, and stakeholders added confidence that we take data security and cyber resilience seriously, and that our systems have been independently tested to a recognised national standard.
