Today we thank our operational teams for taking time out of their busy schedules this January to attend our Health & Safety Stand Down Day a key part of our commitment to safety across the business.

The day brought our teams together to reflect on the behaviours that keep us and our colleagues safe, and to recommit to putting health and safety first across every site we work on.

Thank you to Joanne Doherty, our Health and Safety Manager, for leading the day, to everyone who helped make it happen, and to all who took the time to attend.

Commenting on the day, Joanne said:

“It was great to get the whole team together at the sports club in Askam for our Stand Down Day. Health and safety is something we take incredibly seriously at HBP, and days like this give us a real opportunity to step back from the day to day, refresh everyone’s knowledge, and make sure the whole team feels confident raising anything on their mind. Our people are our biggest asset, and keeping them safe will always be our top priority.”
