Harry Barker Properties Ltd are looking to recruit an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our team.
You will be based in our office in Barrow in Furness and will be responsible for commercially managing various projects from the tender stage through to final account, ensuring the smooth financial management of projects under your control.

Responsibilities:

• Ability to price and prepare tender estimates for both large and small projects.
• Update and manage costing system for presentation
• Liaise and negotiate with the client to agree any variations
• Visits construction sites to measure new tenders and quantities for existing work
• Assess project and tender documentation, requirements and report findings, omissions, requirements for information to team
• Monthly payment applications and settling differences
• Liaising with project teams on a regular basis
• Liaise with client Quantity Surveyor’s and construction personnel on a regular basis regarding financial and contractual matters

Candidates must have strong knowledge of NEC and JCT Contracts.
Rate of pay negotiable dependent on experience and qualifications.
Company Vehicle Optional.
Pay: £75,000.00-£95,000.00 per year.
