OUR CApabiliTIES

Licensed Inert Waste Transfer Station Waste Management & Environmental Compliance

Our licensed waste transfer station, conveniently located just off the A590, accepts inert materials for disposal in compliance with environmental regulations providing a controlled environment for the receiving, sorting, processing and recycling of:

Concrete, bricks, and demolition waste

Soils, subsoil, clay and stones

Asphalt and tarmac

Other non-hazardous construction and demolition wastes

By efficiently managing these materials on-site, we minimise unnecessary transport, reduce landfill reliance, and contribute to the circular economy by enabling the recovery and reuse of valuable aggregates.

Upper Tier Waste Carrier’s Licence

As holders of an Upper Tier Waste Carrier’s Licence, we are fully authorised to manage the transport of inert construction and demolition wastes including non-hazardous and hazardous wastes.

For any contaminated or hazardous waste, we coordinate with appropriately licensed disposal facilities to ensure full compliance with Environment Agency and government legislation.

Commitment to Environmental Responsibility

Reducing Landfill Waste

Our recent investment in a washplant plays a pivotal role in diverting inert waste from landfill, supporting sustainable waste management and helping clients meet their waste reduction targets.

Circular Economy

Materials processed through our washplant are reprocessed and returned to the supply chain as recycled aggregates or fill materials, closing the loop on construction waste.

Carbon Footprint Reduction

By reducing transport distances, offering a return load service and encouraging reuse, we help lower the overall carbon footprint associated with waste management and material supply.

Regulatory Compliance

All waste handling operations are conducted in line with Environment Agency requirements, WRAP quality protocols and ensuring traceability, safety, and legal compliance.

At HBP Ltd, we understand the importance of ensuring that waste materials meet regulatory standards before reuse or disposal. To support our clients, we offer the arrangement of Waste Acceptance Criteria (WAC) testing and comprehensive reporting services. Working closely with accredited laboratories, we coordinate sampling, testing, and timely delivery of detailed WAC reports to verify the classification and suitability of waste materials.

This service helps our clients comply with environmental regulations, supports informed decision making on waste management segregation, and facilitates the compliant reuse or disposal of materials. By managing the entire process on your behalf, we simplify compliance and reduce administrative burden, allowing you to focus on your core project activities.
